Dr Patricia Tay graduated from Dental School in 1998 and from her early stages in the practice of General Dentistry her heart was always drawn to focusing in the care of children.
She followed her passion to treat kids and with determination, she pursued and successfully completed her specialty program in Pediatric Dentistry in the University of Puerto Rico. During her residency program and career she understood the needs of under served communities, and through hard work, she had an active role in diverse activities such as volunteering in multiple educational events using her clinical skills as well as her fluency in English and Spanish languages.
Her practice emphasizes in educating patients and parents in oral health; a good grasp in the concept of healthy habits to avoid chronic oral illnesses, and treating promptly to reduce the long-term burden of disease can make a significant change in the future of our children.
As a Pediatric Dentist specialist, she is pro active in academics, is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr Patricia Tay enjoys spending time with her family, participating in outdoor activities and her inquisitiveness has taken her to travel and explore new places and learn from new cultures.
